our house

So I thought that I would post up a couple pictures of our house. I have loved this place, and so of course I want to share it with all of you who can't be here. The first picture it of my kitchen. It's my favorite place in the house. I love my cabinets, and the counter space. The only downside is that because there's so much counter space, crap tends to accumulate on it. Then there's our dining room. There's no table because it's in our garage going through a makover. We're sanding it down and restaining it. (wow it's a lot of work!) Anyhow, there's another of our kitchen, and then there's our living room, and laundry room. I decided not to post bedrooms, and bathrooms. They're not quite as tidy as the other rooms!

Playtime

Ethan and daddy were playing with the bean bag. It was too cute. We were trying to see how deep we could get Ethan into it. He loved it and couldn't stop laughing.

My mini Garden!

I am very impulsive most times and don't really think things through. (it drives Rory nuts) Which resulted in a lot of extra work on our yard. I would get something in, then take it out later, because I didn't like it, etc. Anyhow, one thing that stayed was my attempt at a garden. (A very small one. Next year it will be three times the size!) Anyhow, I planted tomatoes, some beans, and some carrots. Well, the beans got ate by rabbits. ( I didn't even know there were rabbits around here!) And the carrots got rocks thrown on top of them, and the broccoli just never came up. So of everything I planted, we have tomatoes....and lots of them. The one thing though that I should've done different is tied them up. They're huge, and just laying on the ground. I got a stake to put in when they were still small, but it just never got done. (that seems to happen a lot) So, here's a couple pictures of my lovely tomatoes!

Rory's birthday

Alright, so I'm a little behind in posting for Rory's birthday, which was September 6th, but at least I'm doing it right? Seeing we're still trying to get used to our large house payment, Rory didn't get a whole lot. I think I only spent like $25 or something on gifts, which is totally not me. I am one that goes overboard and buys just about everything I can. So this year was rough. Anyhow, he got one of those old fashioned alarm clocks (with the bells on the top) and a couple things for his car. The day was pretty uneventful, but then in the evening, we met up with my parents in Spokane Valley, and went to eat at Red Robin. (Rory's and my favorite place to eat. Not really Ethan's, the Robin scares him to death when they bring him out!) After dinner, we headed back to our house to have cake, and mom and dad gave Rory his gift; a bean bag! He loved it, and so does Ethan! So then, when Monday came around, Rory decided to use his alarm clock. That stupid clock was so loud! It scared the crap out of us! What a way to wake up. Needless to say, that alarm clock went back to the store. I love this picture of Rory. He was trying to be cheesy, but I think it's a great smile. I don't know how I got so lucky to have Rory as my husband.

Trying to figure this out

Ethan is a HUGE fan of 'papa' When he see's a white truck, all you hear is 'papa'! If you mention boat, fish, tractor, or truck....all you hear is 'PAPA!'
